About Myself ... পেয়েছি মোর স্থান

I am Ramkrishna Das Adhikari, a Research Scholar at the Centre for Nanotechnology, IIT Guwahati. I was brought up in a small village named Santia in West Bengal, India. I completed my graduation in physics from Kharagpur College, affiliated with Vidyasagar University, in 2017. Thereafter, I joined Bankura University to continue my postgraduate study in physics with specialisation in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology. Following my post-graduation in 2019, I developed an interest in the field of energy, in which solar cell technology caught my attention. To further enhance my knowledge in understanding the principles of solar cells, I joined Professor Parameswar K. Iyer's Lab at IIT Guwahati to pursue my Ph.D. degree.

Prof. Iyer's group is focused broadly on designing and fabricating functional materials with controlled composition and architecture. Our consistent endeavour involves synthesizing and exploring unique physical properties of novel advanced materials, and exploiting these structures to design powerful new tools having application in optoelectronic devices (Photovoltaics, LED, memristor, transistor), chemical and biological sensors and brain therapeutics.
